Tamhane Clinic is a Primary Day Care Health Centre present in Kunjirwadi, Pune. Tamhane Clinic has been operational from the year 1982. It was run by Dr Rajendra Tamhane. For more than 40 years, the service has been likened by many people from Kunjirwadi and the nearby residential areas. Tamhane Clinic is teamed up with Dr Apurva Tamhane leading the show, Dr. Shraddha Bhatia as Administrative Assistant, Visharanti Bamane, Sujata Gore and Manasi Kale as assistants. Amruta Tamhane has recently joined the Clinic to handle all books and Accounts.

Tamhane Clinic is yet a day care clinic and serves majorly the local areas of Kunjirwadi, Alandi Mhatobachi, Theur, Theur Phata and Naigaon. We also receive patients from Uruli Kanchan, Yawat, the various vastis and malas from around, as well as Loni Kalbhor. Loni Kalbhor contributes to around 3% of the patient visits to the Clinic.

Tamhane Clinic Primary Day Care Health Centre Timings

Tamhane Clinic is open from Monday to Saturday. Timings for Monday to Friday are 9 am to 7 pm. Timings on Saturday are 9 am to 2 pm. The timing may be extended if Dr Apurva does not have any other commitments. Tamhane Clinic is closed on all Sundays. 

What are the holidays for Tamhane Clinic through out the year?

Tamhane Clinic is closed on all Sundays. Sometimes if Dr Apurva Tamhane is not having any other schedules, the clinic is open on Sundays for half a day.

Apart from Sundays, the clinic is closed for another 15 days spread through out the year. These are decided separately and are announced in the OPD waiting hall.

Dr Apurva Tamhane may take a yearly holiday for 1 to 2 weeks once a year, typically in the summer months. But on these days, Dr Rajendra Tamhane is available for health services.

Does Dr Rajendra Tamhane come to clinic?

Dr Rajendra Tamhane has been offering health services since 1982. He is 70 years old (plus) and is not able to offer services on a daily basis. He comes once in a fortnight but not on a fixed schedule.
